There are many lakes and waterfalls and all manner of water activities. The Pyrenees are an enchanting place, we have been drawn back ever since our first exploration in 1979. Font Romeu boasts over 3000 hours of sunshine. This equates to about 300 days each with 10 hours of sunshine on average per year, this is a place for the coolest sun glasses or else!
	Summer In summer it is just an hour and a half to the Mediterranean at St Cyprien plage. Take in the charming harbourside restaurants in the most photogenic port of Collioure, A beatiful day trip really. You could even take a day trip to Spain, Barcelona is just 2 hrs drive away. You can buy cheap duty free goods in the tax haven that is Andorra only three quarters of an hour up the valley. You could relax and enjoy lakes, caves, thermal baths, forests, hiking, train journeys to the coast etc. This place has so many activities for the sport minded person there is all manner of water sports, white water rafting, body surfing, ravine surfing, windsurfing and canoeing just to mention the few you don’t have to go to the beach for. Then there are those beaches, Spain is only one hour away, the south coast resorts of French Mediterranean at Valras plage, Canet plage, St Cyprien plage etc. are 90 mins away. Forts, chateaux and abbeys at Montsegur etc just so much to do.		. .	Winter Then there is the winter. A winter wonderland with skiing second to none. You are a short drive from any one of 14 ski slopes for skiing or snowboarding. There are free ski buses to at least three of them. With the huge amount of sunshine you can sunbathe and ski, or just soak up the rays in the breaks between skiing. There are a variety of slopes from the green to the black. This place has lots of thermal spas where you can soak and relax in the baths while snow falls. Once you book you can begin the pleasure of looking forward to your next vacation in the Pyrenees
	Chalet Formigueres We have a semi-detached house in Formigueres built in brick and wood near the centre of this small charming old Catalan village. There is a balcony and small garden. The house is in a quiet cul de sac on a small secluded estate.
		Set in a quiet hillside under a wood the house has three bedrooms and a lounge diner with kitchen. It has a bathroom and toilet upstairs and a shower and toilet downstairs. Double French doors open out onto a private balcony, which can also be accessed through the garden. The garden has the most magnificent views of the mountains in the distance.
	The lounge diner has a table (shown with 4 chairs) can be expanded to sit 10. There is enough cutlery, crockery and pots for 10 guests. There is a dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. the oven is eye level and there is a hob and cooker hood.
			The house has electric heating and hot water. In the front room there is a Satelite TV and a log fire. A large futon allows another two to sleep here. There is a double french door leading to a balcony and garden with a barbecue for those summer evenings.
	The three bedrooms are all doubles. A bedroom downstairs has just the double and the two upstairs have a single and the double. All the bedrooms have a built in wardrobe, bedside light and drawer unit
			There is garage for customers and has enough parking space for two cars in front of it. There is also parking in the street for more cars if needed.
